Recent job: a return fitting broken inside the wall

On another Bonita Springs pool, a return fitting had broken off inside the wall, so it couldn't be sealed from the outside. We cut out the finish around it, removed the broken piece, set a new fitting and patched the wall. When we ran the system, the new fitting held with no water in the hole.

Recent job: one big leak at a spa jet

Sometimes a pool has just one leak. On this Bonita Springs pool and spa, the equipment and plumbing checked out, and the dye test found a single large leak around one spa jet. We patched it with epoxy to slow the loss until the fitting could be properly repaired.

Recent job: a cracked spa air line under the pavers

A Bonita Springs spa was losing water from a cracked air line under the deck. Our repair tech shut off the breakers to the equipment, lifted the pavers next to the spa and dug down to the plumbing. The crack ran right through the air line, so the tech cut out that section and made a new connection.

The flex line feeding the jets was badly deteriorated, too old to safely test the whole system, so the tech ran the spa and watched the repair instead. It stayed dry. If the spa starts losing water again, that flex line is the first place to look.

Yes. We serve Bonita Springs and nearby Lee and Collier county communities.

How long does a leak detection take?

Most leak detections take one to a few hours depending on the pool.

How much does pool leak detection cost?

Pro Pool Team leak detection starts at $295. Price depends on pool size, features such as spas and water features, and how complex the plumbing is. Larger or more complex pools can cost more. You get a written report, and if we do the repair, we take 5% off the repair quote, up to the cost of your leak detection.

How much water loss is normal for a pool in Florida?

Evaporation in Southwest Florida usually runs about 1/8 to 1/4 inch per day, depending on sun, wind and heat. If your pool drops more than that, or your service tech keeps adding salt and stabilizer, you likely have a leak.
