Spa plumbing repair in Sanibel

A Sanibel spa had two leaking lines under the deck. Both had the same problem: the flex pipe was pulling out of its fittings.

Digging down to the lines

No water had to be drained for this job. We opened the deck next to the spa and dug down to the two lines that were leaking.

The problem

On both lines, the flex pipe was pulling out of the fitting.

Repairing and testing

We repaired both lines, then tested them before closing anything up. The lines held at 7 psi on the gauge. We also ran the spa before patching the deck, and no water showed in either hole.

What to expect

After seeing the flex pipe under the deck, we would not be surprised to see more issues with it later. At some point the spa will most likely need a full re-plumb.
