Draining with high groundwater
The crew neutralized the chlorine and drained about 10,000 gallons. The water table can sit high in Lehigh Acres, and groundwater pushing up under an empty pool can damage it. So the crew hooked up a well point to pull the groundwater down while the pool was empty.
The skimmer
They cut out the deck around the skimmer and removed the old one. The new skimmer was set level, plumbed in and locked in place with hydraulic cement, then the deck was patched around the lid.
The main drain
The crew opened the floor around the main drain, sealed the drain with hydraulic cement and patched the surface around it.
Refilling
Both patches were ready for water the same day, so the pool could be refilled right away. We do our best to match the color and texture, but new patches will always show a little.
