Skimmer and main drain leak detection in Lehigh Acres

A Lehigh Acres pool had two leaks that someone had already tried to patch: one in the skimmer throat and one around the main drain. We also found two valves at the equipment that weren't doing their job.

The leaks

The dye test found water leaking in the skimmer throat and around the main drain. Both spots had been epoxied before, and both were leaking again. We put on fresh epoxy to slow the water loss, but the pool will keep losing water until both are properly repaired.

The check valve

The check valve at the equipment had a new flapper, but water was still flowing back through it. It needs to be fully replaced.

The 3-way valve

The 3-way valve that selects the returns was not sealing all the way. We recommended replacing it along with the check valve.
